Each year, National Public Works Week is recognized by the City Council for the many ways citizens' lives are impacted by the men and women in Public Works who tirelessly and quietly serve the Brisbane community by maintaining the city's streets and right-of-ways, drinking water, sewers, storm drains, and parks.  "The Power of Public Works" theme for the 2018 National Public Works Week poster gives voice to the impact the many facets of public works have on modern civilization and our quality of life.  This year's poster honors the vital contribution public works professionals make every day to communities all across North America, and it invites the public to celebrate their quiet dedication and indispensable influence on our way of life.  The City Council will be recognizing the men and women of Brisbane Public Works at their May 17th Council Meeting.

In recognition of this special week, we will be unveiling a new video every day showcasing the various aspects of Brisbane Public Works so that the Community can see what goes into maintaining the City's water and sewer systems, not to mention engineering and maintenance resources for the City’s streets, right-of-way, and storm drain system!
