Reflecting the City's commitment to making the Baylands a sustainable development, by integrating meaningful on-site renewable energy generation, the City has prepared a Preliminary Renewable Energy Feasibility Study for the Baylands. This technical document is intended as a starting point for discussions with PG&E, the community, the property owner, renewable energy developers and others regarding what form and level of renewable energy generation on the Baylands is possible. This document was submitted to PG&E in October 2010 for their review and comment. Once feedback is received from PG&E the matter will be scheduled for further discussion with the community and City Council to discuss potential next steps.
